[it's weird that Kite's shown up in Empatheais...

Killua's a little relieved it isn't the Kite in a girl's body. this Kite is still aware that he died, so he's not that far behind. it was a lot of emotional catching up with him and Gon, and... Killua was... honestly kind of weirdly jealous. it was different, back before Kite died.

now it's... ever since their conversation about girls when Gon first arrived, Killua's felt weird about it. he doesn't think Kite's a creep or anything. that isn't his problem. but Killua's more or less used to it by now, though. they're cordial, but they aren't close. it kind of feels like Kite tries it, sometimes... but Killua is aloof.

right now, Gon is hanging out with some of his other friends—friends Killua doesn't particularly care for, so he's just chilling by their place. and so is Kite, because he lives nearby. they're sitting across from each other in a grassy clearing, and Killua's trying to pretend it isn't fucking awkward.
